Who we are
Spentory (“we”, “us”) is a personal finance app that helps you track spending, budgets, and payment alerts. This policy explains what information we process and why.
What we process
- Account details such as email and profile fields you provide.
- Transactions and budgets you create or confirm in the app.
- Optional payment notifications (Android): when you grant notification access, Spentory may read notification text from supported bank and wallet apps to suggest spending entries. You confirm or reject each suggestion before it is saved.
- Optional shared receipts (Android): you may share a receipt image or transfer text into Spentory, or import a photo, to record spending when an alert was missed. Images are used on-device for review and are not uploaded.
How we use it
We use this information to provide Spentory’s features: signing you in, syncing your data, showing budgets and analytics, importing reviewed payment alerts, securing the app with an optional PIN or biometrics, and improving notification parsing when you send a report.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account in Settings → Account, we delete your Firebase Auth user and the associated Firestore data we store for that account, and we clear related local preferences on that device.
Children
Spentory is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not create an account if you are under that age.
